A wise man once said,For everything there is a season.

After a five-year run with the band, founding members Bret Johnson and Jeff Brockamp will be leaving the Jack family at the end of this month. Both Bret and Jeff have been key components in building Jack's success and are the backbone of some of the tightest vocal harmonies in the area. It has been a true pleasure for Jack to have the opportunity to play with such talented musicians such as Bret and Jeff and we all wish them the best as they move on to future musical adventures.

Welcome aboard Ryan and Eric!

Well, if you thought that Jack was ready to hang it up, then you don't know Jack about Jack. We have brought two area veteran musicians onboard and this new lineup promises not only to carry on the Jack tradition as you all know it, but will also take the band in new and exciting directions. Jack welcomes new members Ryan Rose (Bass) and Eric Barley (Guitar).

Ryan Rose (aka, Ryno)

If you have been around the local music scene for the last 15+ years, then you have seen Ryan Rose in action. Ryan has played in bands such as Charlotte's Webb, Jynx , Krankenstein, Max Havoc, The Shake, Bogart Jones, and Star 69. Ryan is one of those multi-talented / multi-instrumentalists that can play about anything - bass, guitar, drums, keyboards, and BTW, did we mention that Ryan can sing? You can check out what Ryan is up to with is original recording project at www.myspace.com/rynolid.

Eric Barley

Think back a few years ago to a band that used to 'pack-em in' at Goodfellas and likely you will recall Yellow Dye #5 (current Jack members Tommy and Shandal's former band). Well let the reunion begin as former Yellow Dye #5 guitar player Eric Barley rejoins the stage with Tommy and Shandal. This time as the new axe-slinger for Jack. Eric brings big guitars, big vocals, and lots of energy to the band as well as one of the largest hat collections around. You can find some of Eric's original demos at elixirmm.googlepages.com/blah.

The New Era Begins!

The new Jack lineup will debut at Crusen's Farmington Rd on Nov 8th! This will be a Crusen's show 'not to be missed'! We will be tossing out some Jack T-Shirts as well as debuting some brand-new tunes. Jack then brings it home when we hit Pekin's Goodfellas on Dec 6th. This will be a special double-header as we will be playing a wedding reception at the club earlier in the day for one of Jack's good friends followed by a full-blown Jack Christmas show from 9-1. This promises to be the show of shows and one to get on calendar! Maybe Santa will show up and you can sit on his lap and tell him what you want!
